Gonzalo is the managing partner of the Firm.

He is a lawyer with more than 35 years of experience giving labor law advice to national and international companies, especially in negotiating with unions, negotiating at the Council of Wages in representation of the Employer Sector and labor conflicts. His professional expertise stands out in reconciling opposing positions in collective labor conflicts.

Gonzalo is the representative of several Business Chambers before governmental and international entities. In his capacity as representative of the Employer Sector before several bodies of the Mercosur, he has signed several regional agreements and declarations.

As Labor Law expert, he negotiates the wages in several industries of the country representing the employers.

His role as trusted advisor to the Uruguayan Chamber of Industries especially implies the analysys of bills of law sent by Parliament and the Executive Branch in representation of one of the three tiered bodies of the Higher Council of Wages.

Gonzalo was a government official, having been appointed Vice Minister of Labor during 1994/1995 and National Labor Director between 1991/1993 and 2000/2004. He represented Uruguay before the International Labour Organization (Geneva Switzerland) in several Missions and conferences.

He obtained his degree in Law at the Universidad de la República and took post graduate courses at the International Institute for Labour Studies (ILO, Geneva Switzerland). Gonzalo is a national and international lecturer having addressed several labor law related issues.
