María del Carmen is a founding partner of the Firm.

She is a notary public and Head of the Real Estate Department of the Firm, with more than 30 years of experience advising clients. She specializes in sale and purchase of real estate, net worth planning, corporate advice and operations involving negotiations with private and public entities.

Maria del Carmen has taken several positions in the public sector, having therefore gained precious understanding of its ins and outs, that has benefited the Firm. She was a a clerk for the Judiciary, Legal Manager of the State Railway Administration (AFE) and Contracts Manager at the Social Security Bank (BPS).

She lead the purchase of the assets of the bankrupt company Fripur S.A. as an ongoing concern, the first of its kind in Uruguay. The purchase, for more than US$ 15 millions was carried out at the bankruptcy courts and the Firm acted for the purchaser.

She obtained her notary public degree at the Universidad de la República, and has taken different courses, seminars and workshops concerning negotiation, international transport, public purchases, among others.
